Reserve Materials
Readings: The reading material for this class
consists of chapters from the textbook as well as items assigned by the instructor that
are available at the Texas Tech University Library or are on reserve. Students are
expected to read the assigned materials for each topic prior to the class meeting.
The class schedule includes the specific reading assignments by date and topic. Readings
in the textbook and any reserve materials will be discussed in class and covered on the
examinations.
Students are expected to take note of items about US federal
government information in current media and electronic technology. These sources are
to be used to complete the course requirements.
Electronic Resources & GOVDOC-L ListServ:
Each week the class will examine electronic information sources that are
relevant to the topic discussed during the class session.
Each student is required to subscribe to the following listserve.
Information on these listserve will be required to complete required assignments.
