Accuracy: There is a wealth of accurate and reliable information on this site. Not only is it sponsored by the State of Texas, but it is clearly marked as being headed by none other than the Governor of Texas,
Rick Perry. Other than a VBScript error on the new home page, this
site offers an exhaustive list of credits, links, laws, "how-to's", grant forms, grant sources, grant amounts, current news articles that affect the Arts, search features and more. There is a credits page with Governor Rick Perry's endorsement of State support for the Arts as well as a list with the names of the Texas Commission on the Arts Officers. .
Authority: Though the Website has no one single author, there is obviously a staff of authors to maintain the various areas of the site.
The entire site is created, maintained and hosted by the Government of the State of Texas. The credentials of the listed members cite a number of government leaders whose credibility can be readily affirmed.
Whether or not these leaders are to be considered "experts" is certainly a matter of opinion. This site does not explicitly provide a signature other than the signature of Texas Governor, Rick Perry, on a memo presented online affirming his and the State of Texas's commitment to the support of the Arts in Texas. The sponsor of this Website is certainly reputable: Government of the State of Texas.

Objectivity: The wealth of information presented on this site shows absolutely no bias. In fact, the opposite is true. This site provides the background information as well as current sources or avenues of available help to support the Arts and it is presented in a totally
objective light. There is no attempt to sway opinion on this site and
all information reported here is factual and objective. There is also no advertising on this government sponsored site.
Currency: The home page itself is not dated; however, the numerous
links and the material(s) presented on the site contain many currently dated links to useful and helpful information. The last update was not indicated on the home page but the links usher the reader to articles dated as recently as the last working day of the Friday prior to this Sunday. All links on this site are current and readily accessible.
Coverage: This Website is a goldmine. It presents the complete and thorough history of the development and evolution of the Texas Commission on the Arts. Online forms for grant proposals are provides and all the rules, policies and authorities that pertain to acquiring funding for various Arts-related projects. The government sponsors, the laws supporting the maintenance of this site and support for the Arts, the philanthropic entities and their requirements, online forms and just about anything a grant seeker could possibly want or need to apply and or acquire funding to support a worthwhile Arts project in the State of Texas.
