REVIEW:

Credibility:  The site is a page of literary analysis and interpretation of Beauty and the Beast , the author is Terri Windling.  The site is sponsored by the Endicott Studio and is a forum for topics related to folklore.  The site gives many links to other related information.

Timeliness:  The article site is copyrighted in 1999 by the author and the main Endicott site was last updated in Feb. 2002

Follow-Through:  There appears to be no way to contact the author of the article herself.   But the main Endicott Studio site does have contact information, a FAQ link and other related links.

Authority:  The author, Terri Windling, does properly attribute her other resources, links to related topics, books and authors.  Ms. Windling and the Endicott studio have gone to great links to cite helpful resources and links.  There are graphics that are also properly identified and all parties have granted permission for use.  The site also asks other users to respect copyright.

Accuracy:  The information in the Terri Windling article offers mostly analysis and interpretation; it appears to be very factual and learned.

Other forms:  The information presented on the site originally appeared in a slightly different form in 1995 in a magazine entitled Realms of Fantasy.

Conclusion:  This site and parent site offered some nice information with many related links.  It is a great storytelling site for the folktale unit.
