This site is fantastic. There is so much on it! I plan to use many of the information that I found while reviewing it and will pass the site on to my colleagues. I also e-amiled it to my daughter to use with my granddaughter. It is that good!
Authority - RIF is a national reading program and this is the link for the program and much more.
Accuracy - The information on this site is valid and had obviously been checked for accuracy.
Currency - The site is updated and the links are valid and current. References are given for all materials used.
Content / coverage - The site contains stories, reviews, activities, links to lesson plans, clubhouse membership info and family activities. You could visit the things at this site for quite a while and get so much valuable information and activities. There is even a section on safety for internet use,
Objectivity - The information is provided to interest the children and parents to read and explore reading.
Access - The site is very easy to use. The site and clubhouse membership are free. It does not require any additional software or hardware. You only need to register if you want to become a member of the clubhouse and chat with other young people.
Design and Appearance - The site is very colorful and has an attractive layout. The layout encourages interaction. It's design makes navigation easy. There are sections for children and sections for adults.
