Folklore and Mythology Electronic Texts

The Folklore and Mythology Electronic Texts website takes a minimalist approach to website design - it is essentially just a series of links to stories within the site itself. The single graphic is a black-and-white line drawing of the author, a retired professor from the University of Pittsburgh (who now conducts his own research). The tales are assorted alphabetically by title, author, or overall theme, with brief notes and a mention of the applicable tale type(s). A list of other relevant websites is included. It was last revised on October 18, 2002. This website is an excellent resource for both common and little-known tales, and presents such in an unobtrusive, obvious way. Though it is not visually appealing, it serves its purpose as an archive of stories very well.
