REVIEW
This website provides excellent information on the value of storytelling in the classroom setting. The stories and information are works of Heather Forest. This site is super and teachers, librarians and students will find the resources invaluable. The main links are displayed well and easy to access. List of Links:
-Retelling Folktales: -links to Getting Started, Finding folktales to tell and Learning the plot are just a few of all the ones mentioned. Excellent resources for getting children and adults out of their fears and into storytelling success.
-Storytelling Lesson Plans and Activities- I really find this site practical and will be an excellent supplement for teachers and librarians. Activities to use with students in a school setting to encourage speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
-Contact page is important in keeping the site interactive and living. This website is excellent and I will use it and share with my colleagues as well.
-Story library. This is fantastic. This contains a sizable collection of folktale plots to help students to invent a new way to tell a story. At the bottom of the link is an alphabetized index linking to other stories. This is great because it saves time try to get back home.
