The website that I chose to evaluate is that of a basic review and links to
additional sources that relate to storytelling. The site contains information
that can be used with students in the form of a webquests and activities and
teacher resources. Some of the information and links are repetitive of our class
work. I found the student section to be a valuable resource. I
Accuracy
The material is current and some of the links were not all working when I
accessed them. The page appears to be accurate based upon the information that
is provided. Upon perusal, I did not see any items that could be construed as
unreliable.
Authority
The authority of the site is established through the creators who are both
educators and professional developers. The webpage is provided as a free service
and extension of their professional business page.
Objectivity
The objectivity of the website does not appear to be biased. The links provided
seem to be a wide range and cover many aspects of storytelling and its
components. The information is provided as a free service. However, there are
links to their business page where materials can be purchased. There is no
outside sponsorship or advertising on the site.

The information presented on the specific webpage was last updated in February
of 2002 by the creators and then in October of 2002 by a third person related to
the professional business.
Coverage
The layout of the page very neat and colorful and easy to follow. The brief
introduction to storytelling is enough to provide an insight without confusing
or boring the reader. The links are arranged in several sections. The first
section allows for the reader to locate additional information in regards to
storytelling. The second area provides student centered activities. The
following sections provide more information resources and links specifically
geared for teachers. The last section is a table containing related storytelling
words some are hyperlinked to their pages that provide further information on
that topic. The topics button on the bottom leads to an array of topics with
numerous amounts of information.
