Abstract/Summary
Abstract/Summary: Our good man returns from his nightly
carousing to find signs that his wife is not being faithful. Every night of the
week, he finds something amiss (an odd coat on the door, a pair of boots that
aren't his under the bed) and demands an explanation. He then ponders the
likelihood of each of her excuses, with humorous rebuttals in song.
