INTRODUCTORY INFORMATION

STORYTELLING INTERESTS

I have been telling stories since I could talk. Because I grew up is such a small area, I created my own entertainment. I told stories to entertain myself or my siblings. My grandmother worked to teach me all family history through telling me stories. She always told me that people never die as long as their stories are told. As I got older I wrote stories. While stories filled my life, it wasn’t until the end of my undergraduate work that I realized storytelling is a real profession. I love history and most of my stories have historical references.
