Conclusion
We hope you have enjoyed traveling around the world with our WILD tales! As you floated down roaring rivers, trekked up treacherous mountains, and encountered strange and exotic new characters (or even a few familiar faces) we hope you have begun to recognize some commonality between the different cultures you have explored. Though our climates, customs, and lifestyles may differ:
To
be a person is to have a story to tell.
-Isak Dinesen
This
does not change based on our geography or background. We hope these stories
have brought you to lands and cultures that are not your own and
strengthened your connections to cultures you already identify with. As we
conclude our global journey, and return to our everyday lives, we think it
is important to remember that in a world that often values progress and
power above all else:
There
have been great societies that did not use the wheel,
but there have been no societies that did not tell stories.
-Ursula K. LeGuin
