INTRODUCTORY INFORMATION
I
consider myself a Texan, although I have also lived in
Argentina, Arizona, and New Mexico. I taught elementary school
after receiving a bachelor's degree, but serendipitously fell
into library work. After three wonderful library jobs, I
decided to pursue an MLS. I returned to Denton to continue
studying at my alma mater, and look forward to putting my
knowledge to work.

STORYTELLING INTERESTS
I have enjoyed stories since childhood. A deeper appreciation
developed through hearing stories from my great-grandfather
and grandmother. Writing and reading have always been my
passions, and I am now developing a deeper understanding of
story in the spoken medium. Topics of particular interest to
me included folk tales from many cultures, stories about
Nature, and personal or biographical stories.
MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION
I
am a fluent Spanish speaker and have traveled in Spain,
Mexico, Argentina, Italy, Switzerland, and the United States.
I enjoy camping, hiking, watching interesting movies, and
cooking with friends and family.
