INTRODUCTORY INFORMATION

An international citizen of the planet earth, I am currently located in central Europe, where we have been experiencing the effects of global climate change and are hoping to get a real summer this year. I have a very active imagination and believe strongly in the power of positive thinking. The study of pure mathematics has influenced a lot of my development, and the main lesson it has taught me is that everything in this life is based on assumptions in relativity, and so nothing can actually be proven.

STORYTELLING INTERESTS

I have been told that I used to be able to write good stories until I got to school and learned how to write stories. The first story memories I have are of a set that my parents would play for us in the tape recorder when it was time for sleep. Next came my picture bible with the hard red cover, full of fascinating pictures and crazy stories that got my little head into a lot of wondering. My favorite types of stories are those which deal with the real-life lessons of people like you and me.

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION

Language is one of my greatest joys, with which I am constantly struggling. I love nuance and metaphor and the overlaps amongst languages. I write prolifically and cannot resist good writing or people who have true messages to communicate.

I enjoy running and riding my bicycle, and I absolutely adore swimming in the ocean. I practice yoga daily and credit meditation with keeping me sane.
