"How important it is for us to recognize and
celebrate
our heroes and she-roes!"
--
Maya Angelou
Throughout history
women have assumed cultural, societal, and familial roles,
fulfilling those roles with every part of their being.
They
have changed diapers and history; fought wars and sickness;
loved and learned. Through their actions we have been changed
for the better. It is in telling their stories that they live
on: grandmothers, mothers, sisters, neighbors and
friends, the legendary and the not so famous.

Thank
you for taking a walk with us.
We hope you have enjoyed this journey
with women from far and
wide.
Our wish is that by
listening to our stories you are inspired
to tell your own or
... those of the women in your lives ...
